Job summary

DEPT® is seeking a bilingual English/French Canadian (FR-CA) Copywriter to craft and localize on-site and CRM content across multiple brands. You will partner with Sr.

Copywriters to ensure quality and consistency in language, voice, and regional relevance for both English and FR-CA markets. You will transcreate English concepts into FR-CA, adapt to various brand voices, and collaborate with Designers and Creative Directors.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and FR-CA with strong grammar and cultural nuance.
• 2+ years copywriting experience in a Canadian agency or brand environment.
• Experience in translation, transcreation, or localization copywriting for the Quebec market.
• Experience in e-commerce/transport technology is a plus.
• Able to produce error-free marketing content in both English and FR-CA.

Responsibilities

• Create clear, original copy for CRM and onsite channels in English and Canadian French.
• Transcreate and adapt English concepts into FR-CA with cultural relevance.
• Iterate on copy changes quickly with Sr. Copywriters as scopes shift.
• Master varying client tones and brand guidelines across both languages.
• Identify opportunities through research and trends in the Quebec and Francophone markets.
• Collaborate with Designers and Creative Directors to push creative boundaries.
• Support other Copywriters regionally and globally.
