Job summary

Motel One Rotterdam is seeking a hospitality professional to host guests, tend the bar and One Lounge, and help ensure excellent service. You will cooperate with the department manager to set standards and schedules while advising guests and actively selling Lounge products to meet sales budgets.

The role includes ordering food and beverages, taking monthly inventory, and gaining cross-department insights in a multicultural team. A bonus and staff discounts enhance the package.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in the hotel/catering industry or willingness to change careers.
• Open and communicative with hosting skills and passion for hospitality.
• Flexible, creative and able to handle stressful situations while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

Thanks to your hosting skills, our guests will enjoy a wonderful stay. As well as tending the bar and One Lounge, your duties will also include the following:

• Providing a seamless, rapid service
• Helping to organise the bar service and determine all the necessary standards and schedules in cooperation with the department manager
• Providing advice to customers and actively selling Motel One Lounge products in order to achieve the One Lounge sales budget
• Helping to order food, beverages and spirits for the bar areas and take inventory at the end of the month
• Gaining interdepartmental insights into new areas of activity by working in our multicultural teams
