Job summary

Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. in Schiphol-Rijk is seeking a Banking Administrator to join our Treasury team. You will handle day-to-day bank statement processing in the ERP system and ensure timely cashbook postings across several European countries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Bank Administrator or similar role in an international environment.
• Fluent English required; Dutch is an advantage; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
• SAP experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Download bank statements from various banking systems and process transactions in the ERP system (Cashbook).
• Process direct debits to the receivables ledger as well as batch payments to the payables ledger.
• Prepare daily/monthly bank reconciliations to general ledger.
• Act as back-up for day-to-day tasks of other Bank Administrators when required.
• Initiate improvements in systems to enhance standardisation of the processes.
• Ensure proper financial controls are in place in accordance with J-SOX and the company’s policies.

For Yamaha Motor Europe N.V., located at Schiphol-Rijk in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Banking Administrator in our Treasury Department.

About The Role

In this role you are part of the Treasury Department within our Finance and Accounting Division. The Bank Administration Team consists of 5 team members, you will report to the Banking Team lead. In this role you are focusing on proper, timely and accurate processing of bank transactions. You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day processing of bank statements in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and will support all related parties within the area of your responsibility, covering several European countries.

Your Responsibilities

What do you bring?

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Bank Administrator or similar role in an International Environment;


• MBO+ or Bachelor degree;


• Experience working with SAP would be an advantage


• Proficiency in English is required. Dutch is an advantage, and knowledge of other European languages is considered a benefit.
