Job summary

NS at Amsterdam Centraal Station is seeking energetic store employees to deliver fast, friendly service to travelers. You’ll prepare fresh sandwiches, stock shelves, and work with a team to keep things running smoothly and customers happy.

Shifts run from early morning to late evening with at least one weekend shift; 18+ required; you’ll earn €14.99 gross per hour (youth wage if under 21) and may obtain a permanent contract after 7 months, plus various benefits.

• Must have a Dutch telephone number and a Dutch bank card.

• You work together with your team to ensure every customer gets their food quickly and easily.

Job description

Your availability

Your schedule is flexible and arranged together with your manager. There are several shifts available: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM and 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM with at least one weekend shift. It is essential that you are able to work a good mix of all these shifts.

All shifts are a 8-hour shift. For this vacancy is important that you are at least 18 years old.

At AH to go Amsterdam Centraal Station, things move fast: travelers are always in a rush, but still expect great service with a smile. That's why we're looking for energetic store employees who love working hard, keeping things running smoothly, and making customers happy.

• You prepare fresh sandwiches at lightning speed and make sure every traveler leaves with a smile. Croissants sold out? You pop some straight into the oven!


• You keep the bakery shelves stocked and looking fresh and inviting.


• You work together with your team to ensure every customer gets their food quickly and easily.

You need the following to work with us: you must already have a work permit (we will not help you with a work permit), a Dutch BSN number, a Dutch telephone number and a Dutch bank card.

What we offer

• Are you 21 years old or older? Then you'll earn €14.99 gross per hour, excluding any applicable allowances. If you're under 21, the youth wage according to the CAO VGL applies
