Job description

For our fast growing company, we are looking for an enthusiastic (junior) web developer that can work solo and together with our motivated (lead) developers as well. Experience with PHP is essential. Where necessary, we will naturally assist you with becoming familiar with our systems.

What are your tasks?

• Creating new additions to our current portfolio
• Improve existing functionality
• Example of activities: expanding our affiliate platform, the integration of websites with our email platform, expanding the current portfolio at international level, optimising the current portfolio in order to be able to cope with our growing visitors and orders numbers, improve the usability of our websites
• Monitor the progress of technical developments
• Estimating time required for certain developments, and the risks and ways to tackle the biggest risks

Required Skills

• You have a HBO/Bachelor degree and some relevant work experience
• Good knowledge of PHP, Javascript, jQuery, MySQL, HTML, CSS
• You are able to work in a situation where you will continue to develop and refine an existing system, but also can work together on a new system
• Driven, focused and looking for a challenge
• Experience with and / or ambition to grow within a young company
• You are a wizard in the field of web technology and understand what a user wants and experiences
