Job summary

Cubiq Recruitment is seeking a hands‑on mechatronics engineer to own end‑to‑end mechatronic systems—from concept to production—in Amsterdam. You will design hardware, prototype rapidly, and iterate with field deployments on real construction sites, delivering robust, scalable robotic solutions.

You will work at the intersection of mechanical, software, controls, and vision, collaborating with a small multidisciplinary team to push autonomy and reliability in our robotic platforms. B.Sc.

Qualifications

• Experience designing hardware from scratch.
• Ability to interface mechanical, software, controls and vision engineers to ship complete projects.
• Proven track record of rapid proof‑of‑concept prototyping.
• Experience taking prototypes to production.
• Experience with field deployments and hardware validation.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end mechatronic systems from idea to production.
• Prototype, test, and validate hardware and firmware.
• Select actuators, sensors, and electronics; integrate subsystems.
• Collaborate with electronics engineers to ensure scalable designs.
• Prepare CAD drawings and production artefacts for manufacturing.
