Job summary

Arηs Group, part of Accenture, seeks an experienced Test Automation Engineer to define and execute automated GUI and API tests across complex public-sector IT projects. You will work with Selenium WebDriver, C# or Java, and RestSharp, contributing to robust test automation and collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team.

The role emphasizes DevOps practices, regression testing, and support for user acceptance testing, with a focus on quality assurance across integrations and REST services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 9+ years of experience.
• Strong working English (B2 CEFR) or higher.
• 9+ years in Software Quality Assurance as Test Analyst/Automation Engineer.
• Experience in GUI and API testing across multiple projects.
• Proficiency in C# or Java for test automation with OO design patterns.
• Experience with REST APIs and tools like RestSharp/WebClient.
• Familiarity with BDD tools (Cucumber/Specflow) and DevOps concepts.

Job Description

• Definition of test cases and reporting of test results
• Design, code and execute automated GUI tests using Selenium WebDriver with C# unit tests written in programming languages
• Design, code and execute functional automated API tests on REST services using C# RestSharp
• Definition /execution of functional manual test scenarios and scripts which are difficult to automate
• Identification, re-testing of and reporting on defects
• Support in definition/definition of test plans
• Support to user acceptance testing activities
• Support systems integrations by active involvement in implementation/testing of API integration/tests on REST webservices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 9years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of English B2 or higher Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (self-assessment).
• More than 6 years of experience in the area of Software Quality Assurance in role of Test Analyst and Test Automation Engineer
• Participation in a minimum of 3 projects requiring GUI and API testing
• Good knowledge of C# or JAVA programming language in context of test automation. Usage of object oriented techniques, dependency injection, design patterns and best principles. Knowledge of git, work with pull requests.
• Good knowledge of manual regression testing and regression test automation at UI and API level using appropriate frameworks (e.g. RestAssured, RestSharp or HttpClient, Webdriver or Playwright)
• Good knowledge of Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) methodology, its principles and practical implementation (e.g. Gherkin, Cucumber, Reqnroll).
• Good knowledge of automation using BDD tools (e.g. Specflow or Reqnroll, Cucumber)
• Good knowledge of applying DevOps best practices, such as continuous testing, build and release pipelines in the context of Azure DevOps(TFS) tool, etc.
• Good knowledge of testing on system and acceptance test level using dynamic, static and experience-based test techniques or applying a risk-based testing approach.
• Good knowledge on testing with Remote Procedure Call (RPC) frameworks / APIs, such as gRPC
• Good knowledge on non-functional testing with relevant tools covering at least 1 non-functional quality characteristic, such as ICT technical security (using SAST or DAST tools/scans) or performance or reliability (i.e. fault tolerance , recoverability)
• Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team following Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with EU institution or agencies, understanding of ICD documentation, compliance and validation processes.
