Altum Consulting are recruiting for a Business Analyst to join an international Media business based in Amsterdam for an initial 12-month contract. Working closely with business and finance stakeholders, the successful candidate will analyse existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and help design future-state ways of working.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years' experience as a Business Analyst, Finance Process Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
• Strong understanding of process analysis and improvement.
• Experience creating process documentation, workflows or maps.
• Exposure to finance operations or finance transformation.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business and finance stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points and business requirements.
• Analyse and document as-is processes, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the design and documentation of future-state processes and operating models.
• Gather, challenge and translate business requirements into clear and actionable solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process standardisation, automation and digitalisation.
• Explore AI, RPA and low-code platforms to improve processes and reduce manual activity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across finance and wider business functions to support transformation.
• Produce clear process maps, requirements documentation and supporting analysis.
• Support the implementation of new processes and technology solutions and ensure adoption.
• Track improvements and demonstrate benefits of transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
