Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children who have autism. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

You will be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. The role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a commitment to ongoing

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Eligible to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support client progress.
• Stay physically active during work with children, including standing, walking, and lifting as needed.
