Job summary

DEPT® Delivery team is seeking an Associate Director, Project Management to lead high-value digital experiences across web, product, and brand engagements. You’ll turn strategic direction into on-time, on-brief delivery while managing multiple stakeholders and complex timelines.

You’ll own budgets from $1M to $3M, drive end-to-end delivery, optimize processes, and mentor teams across disciplines. Remote-first role with limited travel, offering healthcare, 401k, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in digital project or program management with ownership over large engagements or multi-track workstreams.
• Experience managing single projects with budgets of $1M+ from end to end.
• Deep understanding of UX/UI workflows, design systems, and digital build processes.
• Familiarity with agile, waterfall, and hybrid approaches (e.g., Scrumfall).
• Proficient in Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, and G Suite.
• Strong financial awareness and experience managing estimates, tracking budgets, and reporting on profitability.
• Excellent time management and communication skills in cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead mid-sized to large-scale digital projects with budgets typically ranging from $1M - $3M.
• Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resourcing plans with cross-functional teams.
• Drive end-to-end execution from kick-off to delivery, on time and within budget.
• Identify risks, resolve blockers, and elevate challenges with solution-oriented thinking.
• Monitor and manage project financials including estimates, actuals, ETC, and EAC.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve delivery processes.
• Serve as a key client contact for day-to-day delivery needs and align stakeholders.
• Collaborate to evolve delivery templates, tools, and ways of working.
• Champion documentation, QA, and project standards.
