Job summary

You will participate in every phase of engagements, from pre-proposal research to final implementation, working at client locations and contributing to sourcing, analytics, and technology adoptions.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic sourcing and category management projects and activities.
• Gather and analyze data to make recommendations and actions for clients.
• Analyze client spend data to discover savings opportunities and value add.
• Identify client purchasing needs, eSourcing processes, and technology requirements including SMART by GEP.
• Develop tools and customized proposals with senior management and clients.
• Assist with business development activities.
• Collaborate with corporate communications to raise awareness of services.

WhatYou Will Do

Asan Associate, you will be involved in every phase of a consulting engagement,from pre-proposal research through final implementation. Almost immediately,you will join a project team, working at a client location, sharing your ideas,solving problems and providing solutions in the areas of purchasing, supplychain management, business process outsourcing, and technology. Candidates willbuild their project management and client management skills, and furtherdevelop their communication and presentation abilities.

• Supportstrategic sourcing and category management projects and activities
• Gatherand analyze data to make recommendations and actions to help our clients
• Analyzeclient spend data to discover savings opportunities and ways of adding value
• Identifythe client's purchasing needs, eSourcing processes, and technology requirementsincluding the implementation of SMART by GEP
• Understandclient needs to provide flawless service
• Workclosely with senior management and clients to develop tools and to createcustomized proposals and lead client and analyst teams as needed
• Assistingwith business development activities
• Workingwith corporate communications to increase awareness of our services
• Supportfirm building activities including recruiting, training etc.
