Job summary

Unique in Tilburg zoekt een Assistant Warehouse Manager. Jij staat centraal in onze magazijnoperaties, bewaakt dagelijkse prestaties, coördineert floor-activiteiten en gebruikt data om slimmer te werken en kosten te verlagen.

Taken: coördineren van supply chain processen, relatiebeheer met leveranciers, kostenbewaking en KPI-rapportages, personeelsplanning en aanspreekpunt voor Finance/Accounting. Wij bieden vast contract na proeftijd, 40 uur, €2.700–€3.500, 8% vakantiegeld en pensioenregeling.

Qualifications

• 5+ jaren ervaring in warehousing.
• MBO+ onderwijs of HBO-niveau.
• MS Office, met name Excel.
• Engels vloeiend; Nederlands of andere talen is een plus.
• Sterke numerieke analysevaardigheden; proactief en oplossingsgericht.

Responsibilities

• Coördineer supply chain processen en relaties met leveranciers.
• Toezicht op kosten en reviews van facturen om kostenbesparingen te identificeren.
• Analyseer prestatie-indicatoren en stel rapportages op (bijv. WBR en MBR).
• Overzie personeelsplanning, inclusief tijdelijk personeel.
• Dien als contactpunt voor afdelingen zoals Finance en Accounting.

As an Assistant Warehouse Manager, you’re right at the heart of our warehouse operations in Tilburg. You keep an eye on daily performance, coordinate activities on the floor and use data to find smarter ways of working. From improving processes to managing costs, your work has a direct impact on the success of the warehouse.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate: supply chain processes and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth operations;
• Monitor: costs and review invoices to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities;
• Analyze: performance metrics and prepare reports (e.g., WBR and MBR) to improve KPI outcomes;
• Oversee: workforce planning, including managing temporary staff to meet operational demands;
• Support: operational tasks and act as the point of contact for internal departments like Finance and Accounting.

Functie-eisen

• 5+ years of experience in warehousing;
• MBO+ education or demonstrable HBO-level thinking and working skills;
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel;
• Fluent in English; Dutch or other languages are a plus;
• Strong numerical analysis skills; proactive and solution-oriented.
