Job summary

Brevco Services is seeking a data integration engineer to design and implement ETL patterns across diverse data sources and cloud services. You will model data, build pipelines, and ensure data quality while solving production issues.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multinational teams, documentation, and the use of standard ETL tools. Fluency in Business English is required to communicate across projects and clients.

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years proficiency in implementing data integration patterns with modern ETL tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Informatica, Talend, SSIS), especially in the context of cloud services (AWS, Azure) (Mandatory)
• 1-3+ years practical experience in data modelling and transformation to ingest and integrate data from heterogeneous data sources and systems (Mandatory)
• 1-3+ years experience with data sharing platforms, object stores, and various types of databases (Relational, NoSQL, Graph, Object, Vector) (Mandatory)
• Comfortable using command line interfaces in linux (Mandatory)
• 1-3+ years experience demonstrating strong problem-solving skills to identify, evaluate, and fix data anomalies (Mandatory)
• 1-3+ years experience delivering results in a fixed, deliverable-based contract model (Mandatory)
• 1-3+ years experience integrating and working in a multinational team (Mandatory)
• 1-3+ years experience of NATO and JISR architecture and applications (Mandatory)
• Generally 1-3+ years of experience in data management, software engineering, or related fields (Mandatory)

Responsibilities

• ETL1 Development: Designing and implementing extraction, transformation, and loading processes to connect various data sources on different networks and domains
• Data Modelling & Pipelines: Developing data pipelines, transformation mappings, and data schemas to enable data centricity and ensure data consistency and accuracy across platforms
• System Troubleshooting: Investigating and resolving data flow bottlenecks and technical issues in production environments
• Collaboration & Documentation: Working with cross-functional teams to define requirements and maintaining documentation for code changes and ETL processes
