Job summary

Stafide is seeking a Secure Coding Domain Expert to strengthen our application security posture. You will promote secure software development practices across development teams, define secure coding standards, and triage findings from SAST/SCA tools like Fortify and Nexus Lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in secure coding, application security, or software development security.
• Hands-on experience with secure coding principles and vulnerability assessment.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language and ability to remediate vulnerabilities.
• Experience with SAST and SCA tools such as Fortify, Nexus Lifecycle or equivalent.
• Ability to explain findings based on severity, impact and remediation requirements.
• Familiarity with integrating security checks into DevOps/CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile practices and Azure involvement is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English in a large corporate setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve secure coding standards across development teams.
• Analyse, triage, and prioritise security findings from SAST/SCA tools.
• Work with security tooling to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediations.
• Support developers in understanding findings and implementing fixes in code.
• Fine-tune detection rules to reduce false positives and improve scan quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to embed security in the SDLC.
• Research emerging application security risks and share knowledge across teams.
