Zusammenfassung

Aim Solutions in Eindhoven is looking for a medior imaging scientist to own the measurement-to-results workflow in our lab-based setup. You will decide what to measure, run scans, configure and run reconstructions in our Python/JAX pipeline, and judge the quality of the output.

You will translate partner test cases into repeatable recipes, automate them into a single-button-press workflow, and analyze results to improve algorithms. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifikationen

• 3 years hands-on experience in imaging, optics, or scientific data analysis.
• Experience with phase retrieval or coherent imaging (ptychography, CDI, holography, Fourier optics).
• Strong Python with NumPy and SciPy; reproducible analysis code and data pipeline.
• Experimental mindset; design numerical experiments to improve results.
• Work well with optics and hardware engineers and run repeatable tests.
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Aufgaben

• Decide what to measure, run scans on the lab setup, configure and run reconstructions in our Python/JAX pipeline, and judge the quality of the output.
• Turn test cases from industry partners into measurement and reconstruction recipes, and automate them into a single-button-press workflow.
• Analyze results rigorously and investigate artifacts, convergence, noise, and alignment.
• Drive the experiment loop with optics and hardware engineers, feeding findings back into algorithms and tool design.
