DC Engineers zoekt een medior/senior Android-ontwikkelaar voor Triodos Bank via Magnit. Het team werkt aan een krachtige mobiele app met focus op gebruiksvriendelijkheid en performance, in een Omnichannel Value Stream.

Je werkt samen met Android/iOS, back-end, UX en productmanagement, en draagt bij aan refinement, tests en incidentoplossing. Arbeidsvoorwaarden en duur worden nader besproken; freelance niet toegestaan.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 3 jaar ervaring met Android-apps.
• Bewezen ervaring met MVVM, Kotlin en Compose.
• Goede Engels taalvaardigheid in woord en schrift.
• Inzicht in samenwerken met meerdere stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ontwikkelen van communicatiefuncties en zorgen voor stabiliteit en veiligheid van de app.
• Samenwerken met Android/iOS, backend, UX en productmanagement.
• Schrijven van unit- en UI-tests en oplossen van productie-incidenten.
• Delen van kennis en afstemming met bredere stakeholdersnetwerk.

Triodos is looking for a medior/senior Android developer. This is a role for one year which can be extended after that period.

Your main focus is working on communication features in our app and maintaining a stable, secure and performing app. You'll collaborate with other developers (Android, iOS and back-end), UX, Change Analyst, Product Manager and other stakeholders.

The environment

You are going to work in the Omnichannel Value Stream, currently consisting of 2 app development teams working in native technologies (Android and iOS), a back-end team and a team for the website and email. Each app team has 2-3 Android developers, 2-3 iOS developers, a tester, change analyst and product manager. You'll be closely working together on the features in the app and align your work with the iOS devs and other teams. Knowledge sharing is one of our team values.

We are currently working on several major projects to improve our mobile app. Our ambition is to have an app that allows our customers not just to do their daily banking with ease, but also to get insights on the impact of how they spend their money. You'll be closely collaborating within your own Empowered Product Team and also with the other teams in our Value Stream and teams of other domains. Teams autonomously achieve outcomes, all the way from understanding what's needed to tracking the impact of what was made.

To deliver high quality software with high frequency we value clean code, a solid architecture and design for test. We use MVVM, Kotlin and Compose, and rely on TeamCity for our CI/CD pipeline. Testing is done with Compose UI tests, Paparazzi and Espresso. We use contract based API generation for both iOS and Android.
