Job summary

Function Data in Amsterdam is seeking an all‑round data analytics developer who builds the data infrastructure and pipelines for analytics and marketing activation. You will work with platforms like BigQuery, GTM, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Looker, Tealium, Segment, and data pipeline tools, writing SQL, JavaScript and Python.

You’ll be a hands‑on builder who sees the strategic value of data, collaborates across teams, and contributes to education and innovation through a partnership with JADS.

Qualifications

• Have at least 4 years of experience in a data role.
• Are analytical, technical, independent and have good communication skills.
• Have an excellent command of English, spoken and written.
• Have in-depth experience with the platforms and code languages listed above.
• You enjoy making stuff over sitting in meetings (you’ll definitely still be in some meetings, sorry)
• You see the potential strategic value of data, understand its development reality and aim at where they overlap.

Responsibilities

• Build data infrastructure and data pipelines into analytics and marketing systems.
• Work with platforms and products like Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataform), GTM and Tealium.
• Utilize Digital Analytics systems (Google Analytics, Amplitude, Looker) and Customer Data Platforms (Tealium, Segment).
• Operate with pipeline tools (Fivetran, Hightouch, Supermetrics).
• Collaborate with teams to deliver data‑driven solutions and drive data strategy.
