Job summary

Damen Research, Development & Innovation in Gorinchem is offering a full-time on-site internship. You will develop GT-SUITE models for an ammonia-fuelled ICE and an ammonia-based SOFC system, and integrate them into Damen's vessel models for energy-system studies.

You are enrolled in Mechanical or Naval Engineering, work autonomously, and communicate in English. Mentoring and travel allowance are provided as part of the program.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Bachelor or Master studies in Mechanical or Naval Engineering.
• Autonomous, practical and result driven.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop GT-SUITE models for ammonia ICE and SOFC systems.
• Validate models against experimental or project data.
• Integrate models into a vessel model for system studies.
• Provide recommendations for optimal integration and sizing.
