Introduction

For a production environment in the printing industry, we are looking for a General Production Worker for books. In this role, you will contribute to a smooth production process where precision and focus are important.

Organization

This company specializes in producing high-quality printing for various clients and sectors. It's not just about speed, but mainly about precision and quality. Working in this department means being involved in the entire production process: from the initial print to the final product ready for shipment. Teamwork and clear communication are central, ensuring every print is perfect before it moves to the next stage.

Function

As a Books Allround Production Employee, you will perform daily production tasks that are essential for the smooth running of the production process. You will identify deviations and problems in a timely manner, ensuring that production continues to run smoothly. Small errors have a big impact, so your focus and precision are essential. During peak periods, you will work in two shifts and contribute to a reliable workflow. A short training period of 1-2 days will help you get started quickly.

Job Requirements

• You have a strong eye for detail and notice even small discrepancies.
• You work independently and remain objective under time pressure.
• You are not afraid to reject products when quality is lacking.
• You feel responsible for the final result.
• You are flexible and available for 2 shifts (06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00).
• You have a command of the Dutch or English language.
• During busy periods, the department works in three shifts:
  • 06:00 – 14:00
  • 14:00 – 22:00
  • 22:00 – 06:00
  Overtime and working on Saturdays are part of the job during peak periods. These periods mainly fall in weeks 33 to 36, weeks 46 to 52, and weeks 1 to 2.

Offer

• A starting salary of €14.92 gross per hour with no experience.
• A gross salary of €15.62 per hour with relevant experience.
• Shift premiums for 30% between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
• A shift premium of 55% between 8:00 PM and midnight.
• An extensive onboarding period via a buddy system.
