Job summary

Haskoning is seeking a Medior Air Traffic Management and Airside Systems Engineer to help design ATM and airside systems for complex airport projects worldwide. You will join the Airport Asset Design team in Delft, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and international clients.

You will develop and expand expertise in ATM systems, produce technical designs and interface documentation, and contribute to bids and master planning efforts. The role offers a hybrid work model with global impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunications, ICT Engineering or Aeronautical Systems or similar engineering.
• Approximately 2–5 years of aviation experience is ideal.
• Strong English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in ATM/aeronautical systems and aviation telecommunications is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in study, design and delivery of systems projects with responsibility for outputs.
• Support multidisciplinary airport design projects across airside and aviation disciplines.
• Prepare specifications, drawings, tender documents and cost estimates.
• Provide construction-stage support, design reviews, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Define integration of ATM systems within towers and airside infrastructure.
• Contribute to proposals, tenders and bids; stay current with ICAO, EUROCONTROL and FAA standards.
