Kuehne+Nagel in the Netherlands is seeking a customer‑focused logistics professional to support top High Tech clients in Air Logistics on a one‑year contract with the prospect of permanent employment.

You’ll prepare transport instructions, coordinate import shipments, work with the Customs team, and serve as the primary contact for the client, ensuring accurate data and timely execution across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Vocational qualification or relevant experience in freight forwarding, preferably within Air Logistics.
• Strong customer focus with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cultures.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to work in shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare transport instructions and coordinate import shipments, including required documentation
• Collaborate with the Customs team to ensure compliant and timely processes
• Serve as the main point of contact for the client
• Process and organize shipment data and files, verifying documents from external partners
• Maintain accurate information in internal systems to support operational visibility
• Proactively monitor shipment progress and key milestones, and follow up on exceptions or potential delays to support timely resolution
• Coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth end-to-end shipment execution
• Monitor agreed operational KPIs and data quality, and take appropriate follow-up actions where required
