Job summary

XpertDirect is seeking an AI Software Engineer in Amsterdam to build production AI features and backend services that connect LLMs with enterprise applications and data.

You will work with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS to deliver reliable production software, design data models, and scale AI-powered capabilities across the product. Collaboration with Product, Data, and Software Engineering teams from prototype through production is key to success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Software Engineering, Backend Engineering, AI Engineering, or a similar role.
• FastAPI or similar Python backend frameworks.
• Experience building production software applications.

Responsibilities

• Build production AI applications and backend services in Python
• Develop APIs and services using FastAPI
• Integrate LLM APIs into enterprise software products
• Build RAG pipelines connecting AI applications with company knowledge and data
• Design application services and data models using PostgreSQL
• Integrate AI features with internal and third-party APIs

Our client, a growing Enterprise AI company based in Amsterdam, is looking for an AI Software Engineer to build production AI features and backend services that connect LLMs with enterprise applications, workflows, and data.

You'll work primarily as a software engineer in an AI product environment, using Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS to turn modern AI capabilities into reliable production software.
