Job summary

Tencent Games Global Tech is building a developer portal to empower game developers with tools, technical forums, and knowledge resources. This role involves user research, information architecture planning, and close collaboration with design, R&D, testing, and operations to deliver portal features.

You will design content organization, search and recommendation systems, and track engagement metrics to improve usage and knowledge sharing within the community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user and market research to understand game developers’ needs and industry trends in developer tools, technical communities, and knowledge platforms.
• Plan and design the game developer portal, including its information architecture, content organization, search, recommendation, and distribution mechanisms.
• Create product requirement documents and roadmaps, and collaborate with design, R&D, testing, and operations teams to deliver product features.
• Analyze user feedback and product data to continuously improve the user experience, content consumption, tool usage, and community engagement.
• Develop product mechanisms that encourage knowledge sharing and repeated usage, and take ownership of user activity and engagement metrics.

The Tencent Games Global Tech team provides solutions to support game development, publishing, and operations. Our mission is to empower game developers with professional tools, technical knowledge, and collaborative communities. We are building a developer portal that brings together R&D and AI tools, technical forums, and knowledge resources to improve efficiency throughout the game development lifecycle.

• Conduct user and market research to understand game developers’ needs and industry trends in developer tools, technical communities, and knowledge platforms.
• Plan and design the game developer portal, including its information architecture, content organization, search, recommendation, and distribution mechanisms.
• Create product requirement documents and roadmaps, and collaborate with design, R&D, testing, and operations teams to deliver product features.

Who We Look For

• Students pursuing a master’s degree or above. Computer science, game development, or related fields are preferred.
• Strong interest in the gaming industry, AI tools, developer communities, and knowledge platforms.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and translate user needs into clear product requirements and intuitive experiences.
• Fluent in English and capable of using it as a working language.
• Proficiency in product prototyping tools; experience in data analysis, developer tools, or content platforms is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
