ESA invites university students to join our internship program at ESTEC, Noordwijk, Netherlands, contributing to the Galileo ground segment and exploring the adoption of artificial intelligence in a real engineering environment.

You will investigate how AI can improve software validation, enhance engineering efficiency, and support decision-making across the team; tasks include AI applications for review of software deliveries and evaluation of AI models, tools, and techniques.

Formación

• University student, preferably in final or second-to-last year of Master’s, enrolled for entire duration of the internship.
• Knowledge of software engineering and agentic artificial intelligence is an asset.
• Working languages: English and French; another ESA Member State language is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Developing artificial intelligence applications to support the review of software deliveries, including software quality assessment, source code analysis and security checks.
• Evaluating emerging artificial intelligence models, tools and techniques to determine suitability and performance.
• Identifying opportunities to improve ways of working through intelligent assistants and autonomous software agents.
