Job summary

Vector Synergy in The Hague, the Netherlands, is seeking an experienced data science/ML specialist to design and implement AI/ML solutions and perform data analysis in a cyber security-focused environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience and at least 2 years with data visualization tools. NATO Secret security clearance is required, and the position is based in The Hague with potential for project-wide impact.

Qualifications

• Exceptional candidates may substitute degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting a Cyber Security environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply ML and data science techniques to new data problems and evaluate model outcomes.
• Identify and fix issues in ML systems, pipelines, datasets, and development activities.
• Design, develop, test, document, and maintain moderately complex AI/ML components.

• A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience; Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCIA, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to those in this Statement of Work ;
• At least 3 years in support of a Cyber Security environment ;
• At least 2 years' experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Grafana) and the Ability to analyse and interpret structured and unstructured data.

• Designing, developing, testing, documenting, amending, refactoring, and maintaining moderately complex programs, scripts, and AI/ML components.
