Vanderlande Industries B.V. invites you to join the Value Engineering team in Veghel for a 6‑month internship starting February 2027. You will explore AI-enabled VE productivity and self-service agents, map governance frameworks, and develop an implementation roadmap within an international engineering setting.

The project spans two workstreams, focusing on rapid cost/value assessments and self-service agents, with hands-on evaluation and collaboration with Technology and Global Solutions teams.

Qualifications

• Interest in AI and automation for engineering workflows.
• Analytical, process-oriented thinking with systems perspective.
• Able to work independently and drive tasks forward.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to Cost/Value Engineering is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize VE Productivity and Self-Service Agent opportunities.
• Perform feasibility assessments and identify potential risks for agent solutions.
• Establish governance frameworks and define human-agent responsibilities.
• Create a structured roadmap for intelligent agent implementation.
• Model Value Engineering processes and conduct business analysis to uncover value opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design practical AI and automation solutions.
