Demcon multiphysics is offering an MSc internship focused on agentic AI for ANSYS Mechanical and APDL workflows. You will explore AI agents that assist and automate engineering tasks, improve efficiency, and ensure transparent processes within finite element analysis environments.

You will work with ANSYS Mechanical, APDL, Python automation, and modern AI technologies to assess possibilities and limitations of AI-assisted engineering workflows.

Formación

• Pursuing MSc in a relevant engineering field.
• Interest in finite element analysis and AI.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, solve, and evaluate structural simulations in ANSYS Mechanical and APDL.
• Investigate how AI coding assistants can generate and modify Python and APDL scripts.
• Connect AI agents to ANSYS environments via Python interfaces.
• Develop demonstrators where AI agents support simulation, post-processing, or reporting tasks.
• Explore how AI can inspect model information and solver output.
• Evaluate automation levels from AI-assisted scripting to partially autonomous workflows.
• Document findings and assess practical applicability of AI in engineering environments.
