Zusammenfassung

Cortena is seeking a proactive onboarding specialist to implement our AI-driven finance platform for SME clients in Europe. You will configure agents, set up financial guidelines, and ensure smooth live deployments with real client data.

Based in Amsterdam with on-site work, you will own end-to-end onboarding, collaborate with product and engineering, and help scale our onboarding processes as Cortena grows.

• Deploy AI agents for real finance teams by configuring agents, defining business rules, and translating client operations into autonomous workflows.
• Build clean, structured guidelines for chart of accounts, creditor logic, cost centers, and VAT to improve AI accuracy.
• Own client onboarding end-to-end, gathering data, handling messy exports, and getting clients live without friction.
• Maintain high quality by reviewing AI-processed invoices against guidelines and identifying misclassifications.
• Contribute to scalable onboarding processes and internal tooling to streamline future client go-lives.
• Serve as the primary contact for onboarding questions and translate client feedback into product/engineering insights.

Finance teams are drowning in manual work that should not exist. Approvals stuck in email. Invoices processed by hand. Month-end takes weeks instead of hours. We are building the AI layer that changes that. Not a dashboard. Not a copilot. Agentic orchestration made for finance.

When a client joins Cortena, the real work begins. You are the person who makes AI transformation happen in practice. That means listening to how a finance team actually operates, understanding where the friction is, and translating that into the right setup inside our platform so our agents can do their job.

This role sits at the intersection of client success, product quality, and operational excellence. You will own onboarding end-to-end, improve our internal tools and processes, and stay close to clients long enough to see the transformation land. What you learn on the ground shapes what we build next.

This is not a support role. It is a client-facing, execution-heavy position at an early-stage AI company where your work has direct commercial impact.

What you will do

Deploy AI agents for real finance teams

You are not demoing a product. You are implementing it. When a client goes live on Cortena, you configure the agents, define the business rules, and ensure our AI processes invoices the way their finance team expects. You translate how a company actually operates into workflows that run autonomously.

Build the financial guidelines that make AI accurate

Every client has a different chart of accounts, creditor logic, cost center structure, and VAT setup. Your job is to turn that into clean, structured guidelines our platform uses to classify, route, and process transactions correctly. The better your guidelines, the better our AI performs.

Own client onboarding end-to-end

You are the person clients rely on from day one. You figure out the smallest set of asks to get what you need, work through messy exports and inconsistent data, and get clients live without friction. You stay close enough to catch problems before they become incidents.

Keep quality high as we scale

Review AI-processed invoices against the guidelines you defined. Catch systematic misclassifications. Document patterns, suggest improvements, and feed insights back to the team. Quality is not a separate workstream. It is part of everything you do.

Build the foundation for how we scale

Our onboarding process is only as good as what we learn from each client. You will systematically improve our internal tools, templates, and processes so every new client goes live faster and smoother than the last. This is not admin work. It is the infrastructure that makes Cortena scalable.

Stay close to clients

Be the clear point of contact for onboarding questions and setup decisions. Turn what you hear from clients into sharp, actionable notes for the product and engineering team. You are the link between client reality and what we build next.
