Job summary

Belmont Lavan in Amsterdam is seeking an experienced AI Application Engineer to design and build intelligent applications powered by LLMs, LangGraph, and agentic AI technologies. You will translate business requirements into practical agentic architectures capable of reasoning, tool usage, data retrieval, and enterprise-system interaction.

This role spans AI engineering, software development, workflow automation, and business process transformation.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience building AI/LLM applications.
• Hands-on LangGraph and agentic workflow development.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience deploying AI applications into production.
• Solid understanding of LLMs, RAG, tool calling, and prompts.
• Experience with APIs, databases, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop AI applications using LangGraph and LLMs.
• Build agents to execute multi-step business processes.
• Create stateful workflows with reasoning, validation, and approvals.
• Develop single-agent and multi-agent solutions.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and DevOps teams.
