Job summary

NLR - Netherlands Aerospace Centre invites a motivated master student in Aerospace Engineering to join our aeroelastic wind tunnel project in Amsterdam. You will assist with design & development of tilt-rotor aeroelastic models and run simulations using rotorcraft modelling software.

We expect solid aerodynamic theory, interest in rotary wing applications, and programming skills in MATLAB and Python. CFD experience and aeroelastic knowledge are beneficial; you will work in a flexible, high-tech

Qualifications

• Master student in Aerospace Engineering with strong aeroelastic knowledge.
• Solid aerodynamic theoretical knowledge and interest in rotary wing applications.
• Solid programming skills in MATLAB and Python; CFD experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist aeroelastic wind tunnel model design & development.
• Perform simulations with rotorcraft modelling software.
• Contribute to CFD analyses and data validation.
• Document results and contribute to reports.
