IDEXX in Hoofddorp is seeking a finance/accounting intern to support cash application, reporting interfaces, direct debit runs, and client contact. You will participate in strategic projects and process improvements while collaborating with an international team.

The internship is hybrid (office 2 days per week) with commuting expenses covered. Expect a start between January and February 2027, with a minimum commitment of 6 months.

From your role you will contribute to customer success within the Companion Animal Group (CAG), ensuring veterinary professionals can rely on IDEXX technology to deliver critical diagnostics.

What You Will Need to Succeed

• You will be working on cash application, reporting interfaces, direct debit runs, client contact, strategic projects, process improvement and more. As an active member of the team we also expect you to provide critical feedback on tasks and processes.
• You are good with numbers, possess sound communication skills and the ability to multitask
• You pursue Finance, Accounting or related studies
• You are fluent in English, as we work in an international environment. Any other foreign language is an advantage
• You are organized and open to feedback. This will help you in your daily activities
• You are eager to learn, proactive and a multitasker
• You are knowledgeable of different software programs from Microsoft as these tools are extensively used. i.e: Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Word

What you can expect from us

• Our office is located in Hoofddorp, next to the train station (25 minutes from Amsterdam by train). This is a hybrid position with a requirement to work at the office 2 times a week and the remaining days remote (or 8 days a month). IDEXX will cover your commuting expenses (home/office/home) in public transportation.
• We offer you an allowance of650 euros per month, a fair share of responsibilities, and the opportunity to be part of a great international team.
• We aim for a start byJanuary or February 2027 and stay for a minimum of 6 months.
