Ahold Delhaize is seeking an Accounting and Reporting Expert to strengthen our Finance team in the Netherlands. The role covers posting and reconciling the General Ledger, coordinating with Genpact India and the Dutch Financial Controlling team, and overseeing IFRS 16 lease accounting and IAS regulatory implementations.

We offer a 40-hour hybrid work week, 26 days of annual leave, private health insurance, and opportunities for growth in an international environment.

Competenze

• IV level qualification in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting, finance, or GL experience.
• Experience coordinating with external partners is a plus.

Mansioni

• Post, reconcile, and control the General Ledger.
• Coordinate activities with Genpact India and Dutch Financial Controlling.
• Monitor lease accounting under IFRS 16 and apply IAS requirements.

Your new team

As an Accounting and Reporting Expertyou will be joining our Finance team.

Key focus areas of your role

• Posting, reconciling, and controlling the General Ledger.
• Coordinating activities and communicating with the external partner, Genpact India, as well as with the Financial Controlling team in the Netherlands.
• Monitoring, reconciling, posting, and controlling all transactions related to lease agreements and the application of the IFRS 16 standard.
• Monitoring and applying relevant legal and regulatory requirements within the scope of the role, with a particular focus on the implementation of new International Accounting Standards (IAS).

• IV level qualification in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or another related business field
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or general ledger activities.
• Previous experience in team coordination or people management is considered an advantage.
• Experience working with PeopleSoft is considered an advantage.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
