PwC Nederland biedt een thesis- stage binnen Financial Services, gericht op banken, verzekeraars en andere financiële instellingen. Je krijgt toegang tot onze kennis, data en wordt ondersteund door een vaste collega uit de praktijk, zodat je een sterke thesis ontwikkelt en een beeld krijgt van het vak en carrièrekansen.

Je maakt deel uit van de Assurance-gemeenschap, met begeleiding van een internship supervisor en mogelijkheden tot netwerken en praktijkgerichte opdrachten in klantprojecten.

Qualifications

• Je beheerst Engels op professioneel niveau.
• In de afrondende fase van HBO/WO in economische of financiële richting.
• Affiniteit met accounting en cijfers.
• Affiniteit met Financial Services (banken, verzekeraars, financiële markten).

Responsibilities

• Je schrijft je thesis of afstudeeropdracht en kunt PwC’s netwerk en interviews inzetten ter versterking van je onderzoek.
• Mogelijkheid om je stagebegeleider te volgen om inzicht te krijgen in het werk van een accountant in Financial Services.
• Je voltooit je thesis onder begeleiding van een collega uit de praktijk.
• Je levert een bijdrage aan een Financial Services-auditteam bij klantopdrachten.
• Tijdens informele koffiemomenten leer je collega’s kennen van associate tot partner.
• Je kunt deelnemen aan informele activiteiten zoals uitstapjes en een skiweekend.

Thesis Internship Financial Services

Are you seeking a graduation internship where you are central and can fully focus on your research, and do you have an affinity with the financial sector?

At PwC, you will work on your graduation assignment within Financial Services, focusing on organizations such as banks, insurers, and other financial institutions. You will gain access to our knowledge, resources, and where appropriate data, and you will be supported by a dedicated colleague from professional practice. This enables you to develop in-depth expertise and work in a results oriented way towards a strong thesis, while also gaining a clear picture of the profession and your career opportunities after graduation.

You will become part of our Assurance community: an environment defined by collaboration, continuous learning, and approachability. You will be assigned a dedicated internship supervisor and work in a setting that allows for quick interaction, open communication, and achieving tangible results.

What you will do

• You will write your thesis or graduation assignment and can leverage PwC’s extensive network and expert interviews to strengthen your research.
• If you are interested, you will have the opportunity to shadow your internship supervisor to gain insight into the work of an accountant within Financial Services.
• You will complete your graduation thesis or assignment under the guidance of a colleague from professional practice.
• You will contribute to a Financial Services audit team at client engagements.
• Through informal coffee meetings, you will get to know colleagues ranging from associate to partner.
• You may take part in various informal activities, such as internship outings, social drinks, a winter gala, a ski weekend, and more.

This is you

You are curious, results-driven, and able to coordinate easily with various stakeholders. You are capable of setting priorities, work accurately, and communicate clearly about your progress and findings. In addition, you bring the following:

• You are in the final phase of an HBO or WO degree in an economic or financial field.
• You have an affinity with accountancy and working with numbers.
• You have an affinity with Financial Services (such as banks, insurers, or financial markets).
• You are fluent in spoken and written Dutch; English proficiency at a professional level.
• You are available from September or February.
