Job description

Are you ready to build the future of web games?

Web games are evolving fast, and at Poki we work with developers around the world to help their games reach millions of players. As an Account Manager, you’ll be at the heart of this ecosystem by partnering with developers, shaping game success through data and strategy, and helping define what great web gaming looks like.

If you enjoy working at the point where creativity, data, and commercial impact come together, this role is for you.

What this job is about:

As an Account Manager, you are the trusted partner for a portfolio of high-potential game developers within our ecosystem. Your mission is to help them become more successful on the Poki platform by building strong relationships and using data and platform knowledge to guide decisions and priorities.

You’ll assess game performance, define partnership roadmaps, and act as the bridge between developers and our internal teams such as product, data, developer support, and marketing. Your work directly impacts the growth of games, studios, and the platform as a whole.

Your challenge as a Account Manager:

In your first year, you’ll focus on three core challenges:

  • Growing your portfolio: Help developers improve performance, launch new games, and identify opportunities for long-term growth.
  • Managing complexity at scale: Balance priorities, expectations, and workflows across many different accounts, each with their own needs and challenges.
  • Understanding how the Poki ecosytem works: Learn how our platform, data, products, and partners fit together, and how to leverage them for developer success.

You’ll work with a wide variety of developers (from small indie teams to large hit studios) and your work will have visible & measurable impact. At the same time, you’ll need to navigate shifting priorities, unpredictable game development cycles, and occasionally challenge the developers to drive the right outcomes.

Your day-to-day will include developer check-ins, analyzing game performance, coordinating with internal teams, and jumping in when an account needs extra attention or direction.

You:
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, partnerships, publishing, or a similar commercial or game-related role (medior+ level).
  • Advanced experience in account & partnership management, balancing multiple stakeholders, relationships, and priorities.
  • Solid knowledge of games or digital products, allowing you to advise developers on design choices, updates, and strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to ground conversations and decisions in data.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to connect with creative teams and speak their language.
  • A strong sense of ownership and proactivity, anticipating challenges and driving decisions across internal teams.
Bonus experience:
  • Experience working with game studios, publishers, or developer communities.
  • Familiarity with web games, free-to-play models, or ad-based monetization.
  • Experience collaborating with international partners or cross-cultural teams.
Why work at Poki?
  • Direct impact on the experience of our players and our community of 600+ game developers.
  • A lot of personal responsibility and freedom, plus the chance to work together with a diverse, international, talented and self-motivated team.
  • Play is how we learn; we make sure everyone is being challenged and offer an annual training budget.
  • When you grow, we grow: build your career at a fast growing tech scale up. Many members of our team have been with us since their internships and are now in senior roles.
  • We care about our team, and your wellbeing matters. We have a dedicated colleague who focuses on a variety of wellbeing initiatives from regular check-ins with everyone to bi-weekly massages at the office.
  • An opportunity to connect with colleagues through work retreats, drinks every Thursday and team activities.
