Job summary

Anthony Veder is seeking a 2nd Engineer to manage the Engine Room and assist the Chief Engineer in safe and efficient operation and maintenance of cargo systems, engine room, and deck machinery.

You will perform watchkeeping duties as required by the Chief Engineer, and you will update the maintenance system and daily reports. In the event of CE absence, you may assume CE responsibilities with the necessary certifications.

Qualifications

• Watchkeeping duties as required by Chief Engineer (CE).
• Electrical maintenance knowledge and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Engine Room and assist the CE in safe and efficient operation and maintenance of cargo system, engine room and deck machinery.
• Carry watchkeeping duties as required by the CE.
• Update maintenance system and work reports as part of daily onboard tasks.
• In case of CE absence, assume CE responsibilities with required certification.
