Job summary

Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. is seeking an IT Infrastructure/DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing global IT organization supporting 24/7 production operations.

The role focuses on managing infrastructure, automation, and system improvements across multiple sites worldwide, with opportunities in the US and EU regions. The ideal candidate will have strong Linux/Windows expertise, Python, Bash, and Ansible skills, plus experience with OpenStack, VMware, and storage systems.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering role, preferably in a 24/7 production environment.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Ansible scripting.
• Experience with API integration and development.
• Hands-on experience with OpenStack and VMware virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with storage systems such as Nimble, Pure, and NetApp.
• Experience in data center operations and management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 support for production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions using a variety of technologies.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, and Ansible.
• Manage and optimize Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Implement and maintain API integrations to enhance system interoperability.
• Administer and troubleshoot OpenStack and VMware environments.
• Manage and optimize storage solutions, including Nimble, Pure, and NetApp systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and support multiple projects simultaneously.
• Continuously improve infrastructure and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
