Job summary

ON2IT B.V. operates a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in Zaltbommel, NL, providing 24x7 security monitoring and incident response.

The role requires shifting patterns to cover morning, afternoon and night rotations with a focus on Zero Trust network controls and technical problem solving. You will analyze network anomalies, configure secure controls, and document actions while interacting with customers and colleagues to simplify complex security issues.

Qualifications

• Networking fundamentals at CCNA level.
• Knowledge of network segmentation, VPN, NAT, DNS and certs.
• Security mindset with defense in depth.
• Experience with Windows, macOS and Linux.
• Familiar with SSH, SSL, HTTPS, SMTP, DHCP protocols.
• Willingness to obtain new certifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze anomalies, alerts and threats and decide what is real.
• Fix security issues in routing and networks.
• Configure security controls along Zero Trust principles.
• Work hands-on with protocols like SSH, SSL, HTTPS, SMTP and DHCP.
• Document your work so the next colleague hits the ground running.
• Advise customers and colleagues, and make complex things simple.
