Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is offering a Summer Intern position in the Global Private Bank in Amsterdam.

The program provides training, mentorship from senior executives, and projects that leverage your skills to engage with clients and assist teams in delivering wealth management solutions. You will work with a team to understand client needs, gain exposure to market strategy, equity, and alternative investments, and contribute to client solutions while expanding your professional network.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of study and expected graduation Jan 2028–Jul 2028.
• Fluency in Dutch may be required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and analyze market activities to develop and execute strategies.
• Collaborate with bankers, investment specialists, wealth advisors, and lending specialists to learn the business and build expertise.
• Work with cross-functional teams to conduct research, develop products and respond to client needs as part of a Solutions Team.
• Continue to learn through mentorship, sessions, and events to grow professional network.

As an Advisor Summer Intern in the Global Private Bank, you willhave what you need to succeed – from training and mentorship from senior executives to projects that engage all your skills. As a future Advisor, you'll work with our team of advisors and specialists to bring in new clients and to serve existing ones. We deliver highly customized and comprehensive solutions to help protect, manage and grow wealth. No client has identical goals, so understanding their unique needs and tailoring our approach to exceed expectations requires work across teams and the firm to provide first-class service.

Our nine-week program kicks off with a week of induction, where you'll have training and orientation to our businesses and gain the technical and practical knowledge you'll need to start contributing to our teams. Joining our Summer Internship Program means you will be joining a team committed to building client relationships and making meaningful contributions to our business with customized wealth management solutions. Top performers may receive a full-time offer at the end of the summer.

Job responsibilities

• Work with our teams to understand client needs and examine market activities to develop and execute strategies that help clients meet their financial goals
• Work with a team of bankers, investment specialists, wealth advisors, and lending specialists. Throughout the summer, you'll learn about our business and our clients while building your own expertise
• Collaborate with various teams, including but not limited to market strategy, equity, and alternative investment teams to conduct research and analysis, develop products and respond to client needs as part of a Solutions Team
• Continuously learn through one-on-one mentorship, learning sessions and ongoing events to grow your professional network

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• An expected graduation date from January 2028 to July 2028
• In your penultimate year of study
• Highly driven person who enjoys working in teams to develop complex solutions
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, logical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Genuine interest in financial markets and macro-level economic trends
• Desire to ultimately work with external clients in a relationship building and sales capacity
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Highly inquisitive, focused and considerate
• Good judgment and discretion when working with confidential information
• Fluency in Dutch may be required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• A second EU language is preferable but not essential.
