A leading HR consultancy in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a WordPress Developer to design, develop, and maintain complex websites. This role requires at least 1 year of experience in WordPress development, mentoring abilities, and proficiency in creating custom themes and plugins. You will lead projects and collaborate with teams while working flexibly between the office and remotely.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex WordPress websites.


• Mentor junior developers and review code to ensure best practices are followed.


• Architect scalable and secure WordPress solutions.


• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins as needed.


• Integrate third-party APIs and services with WordPress.


• Monitor and enhance website performance, security, and reliability.

• Conduct regular code reviews, performance audits, and security assessments.


• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and development techniques.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 1 year of professional WordPress development experience.


• Strong experience in creating custom WordPress themes and plugins from scratch.


• Experience integrating APIs and developing RESTful services.


• Solid understanding of database design and MySQL queries.


• Proficient with version control systems such as Git.


• Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, security, and performance optimization.


• Good understanding/knowledge of SEO best practices and accessibility standards.


• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Working Location : KL Trillion

Working Hour : Monday to Wednesday (Office) and Thursday to Friday (WFH), Flexi clocking hour (8hours per day)

Junior role : Fresh - 2 years experience in Wordpress

Senior role : 2 - 4 years experience in Wordpress
