Job summary

Keysight Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Windows Platform Integration Specialist to lead Windows OS image development, driver integration, and platform configuration for host processor platforms used in advanced test and measurement products.

You will drive secure software delivery, CI/CD design, and long-term servicing, collaborating with hardware, firmware, QA, and security teams to deliver reliable Windows platform releases.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related technical discipline (CS/EE).
• 6+ years in Windows system-level development or CI/CD for Windows platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows OS image development and driver integration.

Responsibilities

• Own Windows OS image development and driver integration for embedded platforms.
• Lead platform configuration, security, updates, deployment readiness, and servicing.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver stable Windows releases.
• Guide OS hardening, patch management, and long-term servicing strategies.
• Design CI/CD workflows for Windows builds and packaging processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure quality through reviews and tests.

This role combines Windows OS image development, driver and platform integration, secure software delivery, and CI/CD design to enable reliable, maintainable, and scalable product releases.

Responsibilities

• Own Windows OS image development, including driver integration, platform configuration, recovery, servicing, security, updates, and deployment readiness.
• Partner with hardware, firmware, QA, security, manufacturing, service, and product teams to deliver reliable and maintainable Windows platform releases.
• Provide technical guidance on Windows system integration, including device interfaces, services, installer/update flows, diagnostics, logging, recovery, and long-term servicing.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for OS image, driver integration, device communication, performance, reliability, and deployment issues.
• Support product security and compliance readiness through OS hardening, vulnerability remediation, third-party governance, SBOM readiness, and secure development practices.
• Design CI/CD workflows for Windows platform builds, including build automation, DevOps integration, software packaging, installer automation, and release optimization.
• Participate in Agile execution, including requirements clarification, design review, implementation, code review, test planning, defect resolution, and maintenance planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Typically 6 or more years of experience in Windows system-level development, OS image development, driver integration, CI/CD design, or related software engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell, Windows automation, and system-level software integration with hands‑on experience developing, integrating, or maintaining software on Windows platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows Embedded or industrial Windows platforms such as Windows 10/11 IoT Enterprise, Windows Embedded Standard, or other long-lifecycle Windows-based product environments.
• Strong experience with Windows OS image development, customization, platform configuration, secure boot, OS hardening, patch management, update strategy, and long-term product servicing.
• Experience integrating and validating Windows driver bundles, device software packages, board support components, installer packages, and platform deployment flows.
• Good understanding of Windows system architecture, including Windows services, user-mode and kernel-mode interaction, device interfaces, installer/update mechanisms, system recovery, diagnostics, and debugging practices.
• Experience with Windows development tools and CI/CD workflows, including Visual Studio, MSBuild, source control, build automation, automated testing, software packaging, and release practices.
• Experience with Windows debugging and performance tools such as WinDbg, ETW, Windows Performance Analyzer, crash dump analysis, Driver Verifier, or similar tools.
• Outspoken, articulate, and highly effective in communicating with stakeholders at all levels
