Job Description

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate the weighbridge to ensure proper weighing of vehicles, both empty and loaded.
• Ensure that vehicles are within legal weight limits and adhere to regulations (e.g., for transport or waste management).
• Interact with drivers, transport operators, and other personnel to guide them through the weighing process and address any concerns or queries.
• Perform routine checks and minor maintenance on weighbridge equipment to ensure accuracy and proper functionality.
• Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to in the weighbridge area.
• Communicate with other departments (e.g., logistics, warehouse, or operations) to ensure smooth operations and accurate records.
• Receive, count, handle, manage, and check inventory items.
• Ensuring that the records for each inventory out/in transaction are carried out accurately and comply with the correct inventory system.
• Checking and confirming the receipt of packaging material/ consumables items from suppliers and vendors or any related parties.
• Ensure cleanliness around the warehouse/office area.
• Loading and unloading of goods using forklift / reach truck.
• Picking and packing goods according to picking list/delivery order/stock transfer order.
• Seal the cargo after product complete loading.
• Perform daily stock count to ensure no missing goods during incoming/ outgoing.
• Manage and maintain the storage environment and ensure that the materials of the products or materials in stock remain unchanged.

Requirements

• SPM/STPM or equivalent.
• At least 1 year working experience in warehouse operations and logistics.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
