Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Webmaster to join our team in a key support role for our Data Strategist. This is a gateway for a passionate individual to begin a career in maintaining and optimizing key digital platforms—the central Content Management System (CMS).
Your work will be critical in shaping our user experience, and providing the reliable infrastructure needed for successful data-driven marketing campaigns. You will collaborate closely with various teams, assisting with the preparation of both the mid/bottom-of-funnel stages of our marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- CMS Management & Digital Infrastructure
- Manage, update, and ensure the technical health of the client’s websites and related digital properties, focusing on the core Content Management System (CMS) (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, or custom solutions).
- Facilitate the efficient deployment of new web content, campaign landing pages, and functional updates provided by the marketing and design teams.
- Monitor website performance, speed, and technical SEO elements. Implement necessary technical fixes to optimize site health and search visibility.
- Cross-Functional Support & Data Integration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues related to the CMS / website functionalities (forms / tagging / tracking), and third-party integrations.
- Assist the Data Strategist in evaluating and integrating data architecture and insights from the CMS / website, and other systems (e.g., CRM, Google Analytics data) with advanced audience platforms such as a Customer Data Platform (CDP) or Data Management Platform (DMP) for advanced analysis.
- Work closely with our other teams, including Social Media, Paid Media, Public Relations, Events, etc.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare, analyze, and present data for stakeholders, helping to translate data into actionable insights.
- Manipulate and analyze data using advanced functions in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and complex formulas, to prepare datasets for consumption.
- Assist in generating foundational data reports and presentations, using data visualization to communicate findings clearly and effectively (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint & Adobe Acrobat).
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience specifically managing and administering a CMS platform (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
- Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, scripting, and hands‑on experience managing a popular CMS like WordPress (including theme/plugin management).
- Proficiency in setting up and interpreting Google Analytics or similar web tracking tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively translate technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior experience working in a fast‑paced digital marketing or advertising agency environment.
Good to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or experience in a related qualitative field.
- Basic proficiency in a scripting language such as PHP or Python for minor backend tasks or data manipulation.
- Experience with website security tools and penetration testing.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Marketo, etc.) and hands‑on experience using a major CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce Admin Certification, HubSpot Administrator, or equivalent practical expertise).
- Demonstrable experience with end‑to‑end, full‑funnel content marketing.
