Hong Leong Bank in Malaysia seeks a senior wealth management strategist to shape and execute the bank's wealth management strategy. You will conduct macroeconomic research to develop actionable investment views and asset allocation guidance for frontline sales teams to drive AUM growth and fee income.

Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Managers and external partners to enhance offerings, communicating market outlooks, and supporting business plans aligning with revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Banking, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, or equivalent financial regulatory licenses are highly preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in macro/investment research, wealth management advisory, or portfolio strategy within financial institutions.
• Deep understanding of macroeconomic fundamentals, multi-asset class mechanics, and wealth management product structures.

Responsabilités

• Conduct intensive research and analysis on global macroeconomic trends, financial markets, and asset classes to identify strategic opportunities and risks.
• Formulate clear, actionable investment advisory views and asset allocation strategies aligned with market conditions.
• Communicate market outlooks and investment strategies effectively across internal channels, including Product Managers, Investment Consultants, and frontline sales teams.
• Monitor global macroeconomic developments and provide timely market commentary and advisory updates.
• Support management to design and execute business plans and product guidelines that achieve target AUM and revenue growth.
