Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking a senior Wealth Relationship Manager Team Lead to steer a high-performing group of wealth managers. The role focuses on delivering top-tier service and achieving sales targets for high-net-worth clients.

You will recruit, train, and coach the team, oversee risk and compliance, collaborate with product and legal teams, manage key client relationships, and report on AUM growth and client segmentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFP, ChFC, CMSRL) are highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of wealth management experience with 1-2 years in leadership.
• Proven ability to achieve and exceed wealth management sales targets.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, products, and regulatory frameworks in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Wealth Relationship Managers to achieve sales targets and grow AUM.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Develop and implement sales strategies; identify market opportunities and cross-sell.
• Oversee client relationships and provide expert wealth management advice.
• Ensure risk and regulatory compliance; report performance and market insights.
