Job summary

Avery Dennison Malaysia is seeking a shopfloor distribution operator to perform a range of duties from pulling orders to final material handling on the shop floor.

Under supervision, you will ensure waste is minimized, maintain inventory accuracy, and comply with company policy while following both oral and written instructions. The role is full-time and on-site in Kajang, with opportunities to contribute to efficient labeling and materials processes.

Qualifications

• PMR or SPM qualification required.
• 0–2+ years related experience preferred.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform distribution duties including pulling orders, replenishment, shipping, and material handling.
• Complete Quality Deficiency Reports and scrap tickets for defective materials; verify rejects.
• Enter new items into item file maintenance with descriptions and storage details.
• Report discrepancies to originating departments and process work in progress, finished goods, and materials.
• Maintain inventory and direct incoming stock to pick/drop areas; operate hand/power equipment.
• Receive incoming materials and ensure items meet order specifications and mark items before transfer.
• Move, count, sort, stack, and place materials in designated locations; coordinate with forklift drivers.
• Inspect waste disposal and ensure minimum wastage; all jobs tied to MPS.
