Job summary

A logistics company in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the warehouse team in ensuring inventory accuracy, manage receiving and delivery operations, and train warehouse operators. The role requires a diploma or equivalent experience, fluency in English and Mandarin, and at least 3 years in a supervisory position within the EMS industry. Familiarity with ERP systems and strong communication skills are essential. A valid forklift license is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse supervisory role, preferably in EMS industry.
• Familiar with ERP and MES systems for project transfers involving Mandarin.
• Capable of preparing reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse team to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Responsible for receiving, delivery, and kitting.
• Plan and execute training for operators.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed.
• Conduct monthly cycle counts.

Job description

Lead the warehouse team to ensure the inventory is always meeting the accuracy target.

Responsible for Receiving, Delivery, Kitting.

Ensure the safety guideline are followed.

Warehouse ERT lead.

Plan and execute training plan for operators.

Ensure all In and out are recorded accurately to the system on time.

Ensure the material is kit and send to production on time.

• Conduction counselling to the warehouse operator whenever needed
• Report any violation of rules or procedures that happened within the area in charge.

Plan and Perform Monthly cycle count.

Perform related duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

Preferable for those who have a forklift driving licence.

2.0 Job Requirement

Education: Preferably a Diploma and above. Or SPM holder with more than 5 years of experience in a warehouse supervisor role.

Working Experience: at least 3 years experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably in EMS Industry.

Communication ability: Able to Communicate (Speak, read & write) in both English & Mandarin. (Involving in project transfer from China)

Familiar with ERP System and MES system(Some of the content is in Mandarin)

Computer Proficiency: Able to prepare reports and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirement: This position requires long hours of walking and material handling.

Able to work Overtime whenever needed.

Able to work independently. Good knowledge of warehousing and inventory management.
