Job summary

A logistics company in Tawau, Sabah is seeking a Coordinator to manage daily delivery activities and oversee driver performance. The ideal candidate should have leadership skills, basic Excel proficiency, and ideally some logistics experience. Working hours are 45 per week with rotational shifts. This role involves coordinating tasks and maintaining service quality.

Qualifications

• Legally allowed to work in Sabah based on respective state law requirements.

• Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage.

• Delegate tasks for sorters & drivers depending on the number of headcounts
• Receive and inbound parcels from the linehaul team
• Coordinate and schedule daily activities with drivers to ensure all delivery activities are carried out in a timely manner
• Monitor driver behavior and ensure a high level of customer service
• Assist the fleet team lead in the deployment and training of new drivers where applicable
• Monitor and report KPI compliance
• Ensure the compliance of safety policies and standard operations procedures for in-hub parcel collection

Requirements

• Basic Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience in logistics operations would be an advantage
• Familiarity with postcodes/routing/mapping would be of good use
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Fast learner, comfortable with a dynamic environment
• Diploma / Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant disciplines is advantageous
• Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required
