Job Title: Warehouse Storekeeper

Job Location: Rawang, Selangor

About the role

This full-time Warehouse Storeman role is based in Rawang, Selangor. The Warehouse Storeman is responsible for the efficient and safe management of the Facilities Management (FM) warehouse and storeroom. This role is important in ensuring that our maintenance technicians and engineers have the right parts, tools, and supplies at the right time to perform critical maintenance and repairs on our high-voltage manufacturing equipment and site infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, safety-conscious, and adept at working in a fast-paced, technical environment.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, storing, and distributing incoming goods and materials
• Conducting regular stock takes and implementing inventory control measures
• Assisting with the coordination of deliveries and collections
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all warehouse activities
• Managing stock levels, monitoring min/max quantities, and proactively flag re-order points to prevent stock-outs of critical items, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in stock levels
• Organizing and maintaining the storeroom layout to maximise storage and accessibility, ensuring a clean, logical, and safe layout for optimal space utilization and easy part retrieval
• Adhering to all health, safety, and security protocols within the warehouse

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehousing or inventory management role
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Forklift or other materials handling equipment operation experience is preferred but NOT necessary
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control processes preferred but NOT necessary

Working Conditions

• This role is primarily based in a warehouse/storeroom environment within a high-voltage manufacturing plant.
• The role may involve exposure to typical industrial conditions, including noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, high-visibility vest, and safety glasses is mandatory at all times on the plant floor.
