A leading fruits distribution company located in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Manager to optimize warehouse activities and implement cost-effective improvements. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years experience in a warehouse environment, preferably within the FMCG industry. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to ensure effective resource utilization and improve service levels. Responsibilities include overseeing operations, monitoring equipment, and preparing performance reports.
Optimize warehouse activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing and distributing
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, service levels, and cost-effectiveness.
Provide leadership, support, and guidance to warehouse operations staff, ensuring resources are used effectively and work schedules are met.
Monitor and ensure that all equipment, including refrigeration units, is operated safely and efficiently.
Implement and enforce policies and standard operating procedures; attend to external audit findings and execute corrective measures.
Prepare regular reports on warehouse activities, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance and efficiency.
Minimize stock discrepancies and losses through effective inventory management practices.
Liaise with other departments to coordinate logistics and distribution activities.
Identify and resolve operational issues or bottlenecks to ensure seamless workflow.
To perform any others duties that the immediate superior/management may assign from time to time.
Minimum certificate, diploma, or degree in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or Logistics.
Minimum 3-5 years working experience in warehouse environment, preferable with working experience under FMCG industry.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office suite.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
