Job summary

A food processing and exporting company is looking for a Warehouse Executive in Batu Pahat, Malaysia. Responsibilities include managing daily warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining compliance with regulations. Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics, strong cold chain management skills, and excellent communication abilities in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Mandarin. Experience in the logistics industry is preferred with a proven track record in warehouse management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years’ leadership experience in similar position, preferably from logistics industry.
• Proven track record of positive warehouse management.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall daily operations of warehouse including inbound and outbound activities.
• Maintain stock accuracy and compliance with Halal and Malaysia regulations.
• Manage recruitment, training, and appraisals of warehouse staff.

Job description

Overall daily operations of warehouse including physical inbound and outbound activities, inventory management and accuracy, safety and quality.

Optimized use of warehouse space and layout to avoid overflow storage and additional costs.

Promote and implement strategic continuous improvement plan in Warehouse activities.

Maintain stock accuracy at all time

Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

Coordinate maintenance schedules for facilities, equipment, infrastructure and system breakdown to minimize downtime.

Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

Adhere safe-work place procedures in warehouse

Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, orienting, co-ordinate training to employees, and appraising job results

Maintains Compliance of Halal and Malaysia regulation relates to warehousing, advising to Management on needed actions.

Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Carry any other ad-hoc task assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management / Logistic or relates field of study.
• Strong knowledge and high competency in COLD CHAIN WAREHOUSE management is a MUST and preferably from Logistics field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Bahasa Melayu and Mandarin (for liaising with China country's PIC)
• Minimum 2-5 years’ leadership experience in similar position, preferably from logistic industry.
• Strong knowledge in Warehouse Management System.
• Strong Analytical Skill in problem solving and making timely decision.
• Good Interpersonal Skill , decision making skills and influencing skill to deal with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record of positive warehouse management.
• Possess numeracy and an understanding of finance for stock management.
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Preferably with experience from the FMCG Industry or high-volume transaction environment.
• Possess own transport and able to travel when needed.

We also venture into downstrean products of durians such as durian mooncake, durian pastry, durian spread, durian ice cream, durian pancake, frozen durian pulp, frozen whole durian, fresh durian and minimal process durian packaging.
